Household data — tasks, calendar events, and other content you and your partner enter into the app.

Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial data, precise location, or health records.

To provide, maintain, and improve the Fairnesty app.
To sync your household data across devices and with your partner.
To generate your fairness score, weekly plan, and monthly summary.
To send you important service notifications (not marketing, unless you opt in).
To respond to support requests.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. We may share data only in these limited cases:

With your household partner — shared tasks, calendar, and scores are visible to the other members of your household as intended by the app.
Service providers — trusted vendors who help us operate the app (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements.
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Access to user data is restricted to personnel who need it to operate the service.

6. Children's privacy

Fairnesty is designed for adults and parents managing family life. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
